Automated Clearinghouse NACHA Audits
Forvis Mazars provides Automated Clearinghouse Auditing Services (ACH) that complies with the National Automated Clearinghouse Association (NACHA) Automated Clearinghouse Auditing rules and the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) Retail Payment Systems Booklet.
Financial institutions rely on ACH, an electronic network, for the exchange of payments – either debits or credits to deposit accounts on behalf of customers. Institutions associated with the ACH network must conduct an audit for compliance on an annual basis no later than December 31 each year. The scope of a Forvis Mazars ACH Audit would, in addition to industry and regulatory ACH audit requirements, include a risk-based assessment of your financial institution as a Receiving Depository Financial Institution (RDFI); Originating Depository Financial Institution (ODFI); and as an ACH transactional payment processing organization.
Forvis Mazars helps many of our clients to accomplish this important ACH requirement. Our Senior Consultant responsible for ACH audits is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and accredited by the Automated Clearing House Accreditation (AAP). With years of experience in financial institution operations and technology, our firm is recognized as an industry leader by our clients.
