Telhio began in 1934 in Columbus, OH as a credit union for Columbus Telephone Company employees. Today, the credit union services all who live, work, worship, and attend school in Franklin, Fairfield, Delaware, Union, Pickaway, Licking, Madison, Hamilton, Warren, Butler, and Preble counties, with total assets of more than $800 million.
