A two-hour webinar reviewing the rules for retail, non-mortgage loans (both closed-end and open-end).
Institutions spend so much time and effort trying to understand the overwhelming and confusing world of mortgage loans and HELOCs (i.e., consumer loans secured by dwellings), that loans not secured by dwellings often get pushed to the side in terms of compliance. It’s easy to do: mortgages and HELOCs are subject to a greater number of changing requirements. However, we do have some rules for non-dwelling secured loans, which are still important to understand and can be complicated.
This webinar will review the Federal lending compliance requirements, origination and servicing, regarding retail, consumer loans, for both closed-end and open-end (revolving lines of credit; not including credit cards). The materials will include checklists, ordered in terms of timing as well, in order to clarify when the requirements apply.
