A two-hour webinar focusing on the origination rules that specifically apply if the consumer is *not* purchasing a dwelling, including the concept of a “bridge” loan.
The applicability of mortgage lending compliance rules and certain disclosures often depend on the purpose of the loan. Among other factors, whether the consumer will be using the loan proceeds to purchase a dwelling, or will be using the dwelling as equity for a new loan, will determine if a transaction is subject to certain requirements.
This webinar will provide an overview of the Federal lending compliance requirements that could apply to mortgage loans, closed-end consumer loans secured by a dwelling, whether principal or a second or vacation home, in which the consumer will not be purchasing a dwelling. Among other rules, we’ll discuss the Government Monitoring Information requirements, specific disclosure rules for the Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure, and the Right of Rescission.
