A two-hour webinar to update members of the operations, retail, and audit staffs on the 2022 update to Treasury’s ACH processing guide – The Green Book. With the rewrite to 31 CFR 210 in April 1999, Treasury adopted, with exclusions, the NACHA Rules as the basis for most federal ACH processing. Periodically, the Financial Management Service within the Bureau of Fiscal Service at Treasury updates the Green Book. This webinar will review the late 2021/early 2022 updates to the Green Book.

Here’s What You Will Learn:

  • Identify the late-2021 changes to the Green Book;
  • Review the 2022 changes to 31 CFR 210;
  • Discuss the reclamation process for federal benefit payments;
  • Highlight “how” to enroll a client to convert from paper-check to electronic disbursement of their federal benefit payments; and
  • Allow questions from participants.

In 2021, Treasury originated 1.972 billion ACH Entries, with a dollar value of over $8.115 trillion (+ $1.9 trillion increase over total 2020 disbursements). This two-hour webinar from FORVIS will provide the operations and retail staffs with the latest guidance on the proper processing and handling of the federal Entries.
