Paul Simoff joined ProBank Austin in 1985 after having served in banking and marketing capacities with Bank One Corporation in Columbus, Ohio and with the Ohio Bankers Association. His responsibilities with ProBank Austin include managing client relationships pertaining to expansion planning, regulatory consulting, capital planning, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic planning, among other consulting assignments within the firm’s Strategic Consulting practice area. A graduate of Grove City College in Pennsylvania, he earned a graduate degree from Ohio State University and completed post-graduate work at Bowling Green State University. He is a co-author (with the late Dr. Douglas V. Austin) of Strategic Planning for Banks, a book published for bank executives and directors. He also has published numerous articles and white papers in various trade publications pertaining to community bank growth and expansion strategies, branching, executive management issues, among other pertinent topics.
In addition to serving as a speaker to various trade group, Mr. Simoff has served as an instructor at The University of Toledo and at various banking schools throughout the Midwest.
